Mr Smits has worked for Shell, BG Group, Gazprom and Excelerate Group in variety of technical, commercial, finance and business development positions, including Head of Business Development and Strategy for Gazprom's global LNG division, developing some of Gazprom's largest and most strategic projects, but also responsible for small scale LNG. Mr Smit's track record spans the entire energy value chain, from exploration down to the end customer. He has had leading roles with responsability for the delivery of all aspects of the business and made sure they met all HSSE, technical, commercial and financial requirements. His negotiations with partners and clients have led to valuable ans sustainable deals for all parties involved. Mr Smits was trained as a Production Technologist in Shell. He holds an MSc in Theoretical Physics and a MBA from London School of Economics.

Anders Bjordal,  Head of Trading, Statoil ASA, Norway
Anders Bjordal joined Statoil in 1999 and has since then worked in the business area of downstream marketing and trading of  oil and gas. Mr Bjordal assumed his current position as LNG Trading Manager in January 2017. Prior to this Mr Bjordal held varoius positions within the marketing and trading area covering amongst others LNG trading, distillates and shipping. Mr Bjordal holds a Business degree from Colorado State University, USA.
