We would like to invite you and your company to the 13th edition of the conference entitled “The market of postal&courier services in Central Europe 2017” which will be held on 18 September 2017 in Hotel Courtyard by Marriott in Warsaw, Poland.
The conference “The market of postal&courier services in Central Europe” is the biggest conference for the sector of postal&courier services held in Poland and Central-Eastern Europe. The first edition of the conference took place in 2003.
Over 100 managers participated in last year's conference (most of them will be CEOs, Members of the Board, Executive Directors, Sales Directors, Regional Sales Directors, Development and Marketing Directors) representing 40 companies of postal, courier, direct marketing, e-commerce, carrier and bulk senders services sector from Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Germany, Slovakia and United Kingdom.

The event is planned to be attended by over 100 managers from the decision-making level representing the most important postal and courier operators from Poland and Central Europe (i.e Ukraine, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany), representatives of companies from the sector of distribution, direct marketing, eCommerce and technology companies.
POSTAL&COURIER MARKET AGAINST THE CHALLENGES POSED BY DIGITIZATION, CROSS-BORDER E-COMMERCE AND DIGITAL SINGLE MARKET.
Opening speech will be made by Mr Kazimierz Smolinski, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction in charge of the postal sector who will present the government strategy towards Poczta Polska S.A. and postal market in Poland.
Mr Karol Krzywicki, Vice-President of the Office of Electronic Communications, will present latest report of the Office of Electronic Communications about market shares, prices and quality of postal&courier services in Poland.
Mr Przemyslaw Sypniewski, CEO of Poczta Polska S.A./Polish Post, will present new strategy of development of Polish Post in 2017-2021.
Mr Slawomir Zawadzki, CEO of Bank Pocztowy S.A./Postal Bank, will present new Bank's strategy and financial and banking services in the offer of modern postal operators.
STRATEGIC CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES ACROSS THE POSTAL AND PARCEL MARKET.

In the second part of the conference, representatives of leading Central-European operators and experts will discuss about influence of digitization , cross-border delivery and innovations on postal&courier businesses.
Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, First Deputy Director General of UkrPoshta (Ukrainian Post) who is responsible for day-a-day operations of one of Europe's most extensive logistics networks of 76,000 employees, 35 sorting centers and more than 11,000 post offices, will present compelling and and winning transformation story of Ukraine Post and discuss about importance of UkrPohsta in development of cross-border eCommerce from Asia to Europe.
Michael Lierow, Partner and Head of Global Supply Chain, will analyze strategic challenges and opportunities across the postal and parcel sector. He will present development strategies of postal and courier operators in the era of digitization and cross-border delivery, new sources of revenues and new services in the offer of world and european postal&courier operators.
Grzegorz Urban, director at PwC, will analyze new delivery trends and their impact on parcel market transformation.
Arkadiusz Kawa Ph.D., logistic expert, will give an overview of the main trends and challenges within the parcel sector, with a key focus on the development of cross-border eCommerce.
CHALLENGES AND CONDITIONS OF DEVELOPMENT OF POSTAL&PARCEL MARKET IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE IN THE ERA OF CROSS-BORDER DELIVERY. BETWEEN EAST AND WEST.
Representatives of postal&courier operators from Central and Eastern Europe will discuss issues as the role of Central-European postal&courier operators in the development of cross-border eCommerce between East and West, perspectives of building new eCommerce Silk Road from China to Europe, the role of eCommerce giants (as Amazon and Alibaba Group) and their influence on delivery market in Central and Eastern Europe. Representative of postal operators, direct mail companies and integrated marketing agencies will discuss challenges, trends and perspectives of development of direct mail and direct marketing. We will discuss how to achieve a synergy between online and offline marketing, how to develop and implement an integrated multi-channel bidirectional communication for customers.
INNOVATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGES OF MODERN POSTAL&COURIER MARKET.
Automation of logistics processes (sorting, packaging, handling), solutions for efficient restmail processing, e-identity platforms, mobility, influence of internet of things on postal&parcel technologies and innovative solutions of last mile challenges will be main issues of technology part of our conference.
